Assignment #1 – Install editing software, import photos, crop, export edited photo

1. Download and install Capture One Express for Sony as per http://thewanderinghoneybadger.com/knowledge-base/capture-one-express-for-sony/
2. Create a Test library
3. Import a couple of images
4. Use the crop tool to crop one of them, I used a bunny photo (note:
   So now I want you to crop the bunny image for best effect, what looks the most pleasing. So what you should know is that anything you do in this program does NOT effect the original image you imported, so it does not mess anything up. Its only when you go to output an image that the corrections and adjustments are applied.)

   tips: People who read western languages read from left to right.. so the eye moves left to right more naturally. for animals, we are drawn to looking at their eye first, then we follow / look in the same direction that the animal is looking.    Crop out the distracting bits that don’t relate to the story you are telling, although, if the image is going to be used for advertising, then copy editors like to have room to add type and other elements.  Photography is the art of REMOVING elements from a scene.. to get down to the essence of the image message. 
    
5. Pick an output recipe and export out the cropped version as a med. resolution jpeg
