Argentina was a strategic jump off and routing point for getting down to Antarctica, and of course on its own is a very worthwhile destination.  A few images from the various places I stopped so far in Argentina are posted in the Argentina Image Gallery, with a few more potentially coming.

Highlights included Buenos Aires, Ushuaia (The End of the World), and the Argentinian areas in Patagonia (El Calafete – the Perito Moreno Glacier, and El Chalten – The Fitz Roy Range).
